Slay Bells Ring, Are You Listenin’?
We believe there’s no better way to get into the holiday spirit than through crafting! This December, we are excited to flex our fine motor skills by creating these simple and festive Icicle Ornaments!
These holly jolly pipe cleaner tchotchkes are a great activity for all ages, and can be completed in just three steps.
We found inspiration for this craft on Happy Hooligans: https://happyhooligans.ca/icicle-ornaments/
SUPPLIES NEEDED
🎁 Pipe Cleaners/Chenille Stems- we used a metallic variety
🎁 Pony Beads
🎁 Thread/Ornament Hanger/Ribbon
MAKING OUR ICICLE ORNAMENTS
❄️ Start at one end of the pipe cleaner and slide on 6 beads. Try using a variety of colors to help make your icicle pop!
❄️ Once your beads are spaced out, twist the pipe cleaner horizontally around both the top and bottom beads until they feel secure- this keeps the beads from falling off!
❄️ To give your icicle a spiral effect, wind the pipe cleaner around a pen or pencil, then slide it off, stretch it out, and finish by tying on your thread, ribbon, or ornament hanger!
