About Me
I have been a member of Reading Time since December of 2021. I can't believe it's been that long. Time flies when you're having fun with your best friends.
I grew up in Nevada, but came to Pocatello after high school, ready for a new start. After a few years of searching and exploring, I stumbled upon the world of drag. I was very happy to discover just how loving and accepting this community is and knew right away that I had found a home.
Reading Time is certainly no exception to this. I love that I am a part of an organization that sets such a shining example of how to love yourself and others.
When I'm not hard at work with my Reading Time friends, you might see me at my regular job, scanning and bagging groceries. I can also sometimes be found at my favorite coffee shop, treating myself to my favorite drink (a maple latte). But if I'm not out and about, I'm probably at home with my cat working on my latest needle point project. I'm also a huge Taylor Swift fan. Whatever I'm doing, I'm probably listening to her music.
One of my favorite memories is waiting in line at midnight at the bookstore when a new Harry Potter book was being released. Now, as an adult, I am so happy that I get to share the joy of books with others.
